Central Credit Union will be helping those impacted by epilepsy during November's Epilepsy Awareness Month. At our Bellwood and Orland Park locations, we will be collecting clothing, electronics, small appliances, and other household items to help fund local programs and services to better educate and support families impacted by this disease. All items will be donated to Savers Thrift Stores with all proceeds then being given to the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago in support of their mission.

Some of our members have recently received phone calls that appear to be from Central Credit Union requesting confirmation of personal information. These calls are fraud attempts coming from caller ID numbers spoofed to match Central Credit Union phone numbers. Please be on alert whenever you receive a call or text from someone asking for your personal or financial information. The credit union does not typically call members to request or verify sensitive personal or financial information including credit card numbers or PINs.
If you receive such phone calls or texts, please hang up or do not respond. Then, call the credit union directly at (708) 649-6410 to verify if the call was legitimate and address any concerns you might have regarding fraud on your accounts. We will be happy to assist in any way possible.
